Acid & Caustics
No difference/change on contact with products containing a P.H. between 1.0 and 12.0
Scale Formation
Low susceptibility to hard water - if formed it is easily removed with common scale remover
Expansion
The finishing trim for the Contract Expan (Grosfillex) product is designed to absorb expansion through a thermal range of 40°C
Thermal conductivity of PVC=k=0.18 W/m : °k
Sheet thermal transmission coefficient k = 3.23 W/m : °k
VICAT point 83°C
Maximum temperature for maintenance (continuous use) is 60°.
IMPORTANT: This product is not suitable for use behind a cooker

Scratch Resistance
The resistance of the material is strengthened by a veneer.
*IMPORTANT: Abrasive cleaners should not be used on this product
Resistance; 1500. (Compare varnished wood at 450 and low pressure melamine at 2200).
Resistance to UV Radiation
6 to 8 on the wood scale, depending on the shade. (Compare wood at 2 and ceramic tile at 8)
Resistance to Salt Mists
This product is perfectly neutral, there is no change in the product in a saline environment, such as seaboard therapy centre or spa.
